Self-Inking Stamps and Pre-Inked Rubber Stamps

What is the difference between personalized Self-Inking stamps and custom Pre-Inked stamps?

The main difference is that the self-ink stamp has an ink pad that can be refilled and / or replaced.  Pre-Inked rubber stamps have ink reservoirs that require ink to be poured into them.  Pre-Inked stamps last up to 5 times longer than a self-inking stamp, before re- inking.  The impressions are near "print" quality and to re-ink, just remove the handle and pour ink into the reservoirs.

Self-inking stamps customs made are available in sizes up to 1-1/2" x 3" and pre-inked stamps are available in sizes up to 3-1/2" x 4- 1/2".

To ensure the life of any personalized rubber stamp, be sure to use the proper ink when re- inking.  Using the wrong ink can cause the custom ink stamp lettering to warp and sometimes even fall off.  Custom self-inking stamps use water based ink (our stock# ID-INK-2) and custom pre-inked stamps use oil based ink (our stock #
INK-EVO REFILL INK 10 ML).  When in doubt, please contact your favorite customer service representative for further information.
